2026 HAWAII SONGWRITING FESTIVAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

In partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation (UHF), HKF supports the next generation of Hawaiian music artists through partial Hawaiian Music Scholarships offered through WCC to students accepted into the 2025–26 academic year.

In partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation (UHF), HKF supports the next generation of Hawaiian music artists through 3 partial Hawaiian Music Scholarships offered through WCC to students accepted into the 2024–25 academic year.
HKF is Honored to have Provided 5 full scholarships for 5 Maui resident musicians (covering registration, hotel, & transproation) and 7 general registration scholarships to qualified HKF On the Rise Artists. The Hawaii Sogwiritng Festical is held annually in Hapuna, Hawaii Island.

In partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation (UHF), HKF launched the Henry Kapono Foundation (HKF) Hawaiian Music Scholarship, supporting the next generation of Hawaiian music artists through 3 partial Hawaiian Music Scholarships offered through WCC to students accepted into the 2023–24 academic year.
