Anthony Pfluke 2025 HKF On the Rise Artist

Anthony Pfluke is a Maui-born singer-songwriter and award-winning musician whose contemporary approach to Hawaiian music is rooted in culture, place, and storytelling. A two-time 2026 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner, Anthony brings together soulful vocals with ʻukulele and 6- and 12-string kī hōʻalu (slack key guitar). His music and performances reflect a new generation carrying Hawaiian musical traditions forward while creating a sound distinctly his own.

  • Commissioned to compose music for the launch of Moʻokiha O Piʻilani, Maui's traditional Hawaiian voyaging canoe.

  • Original songs “Kuʻu Lei Aloha” and “We Will Rise” accompanied the Lei of Aloha for World Peace on international journeys of healing and connection.

  • Performs with Barry Flanagan as part of HAPA, carrying forward the group's signature Hawaiian contemporary sound.

  • Has shared stages with Henry Kapono, Amy Hānaialiʻi and Brother Noland, and opened for Jerry Santos, Keola Beamer, Taimane and Josh Tatofi.
