From the shores of Kailua, Dominic Carlos is a Hawai‘i-born artist whose music brings a modern, emotionally rich take on island sound. Blending alternative rock with elements of soul, blues, and reggae, his original songs, like “The Island” and “ʻAʻaliʻi,” create an atmosphere that’s both polished and deeply moving.
Known for his evocative vocals and skillful live-looping, Dominic has shared the stage with local legends Henry Kapono and Jerry Santos, and co-headlined a show at Manoa Valley Theatre.
Nominated for the 2022 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Reggae Album of the Year with the group DNA Muse, he continues to expand his reach while staying grounded in his island roots.
