Known for his uplifting lyrics and feel-good energy, Ryan’s performances radiate positivity and healing—earning him a growing fanbase across Oʻahu.
Raised between North Carolina and Hawaiʻi, Ryan initially pursued a career in sports, earning the title of Hawaiʻi's #1 Amateur Golfer in 2009 and a full golf scholarship to the University of Hawaiʻi. But a new path emerged when a friend asked for help with his company—sparking Ryan’s unexpected connection to music. What started as a favor quickly ignited a passion, and performing soon became an outlet for creativity and self-expression.
As he served eight years in the U.S. Coast Guard, Ryan carried that passion with him, booking live gigs in every city he was stationed. Music became more than a pastime—it became his calling. Today, he performs regularly across the island, delivering high-vibe, ukulele-driven sets that fuse genres and elevate spirits.
Ryan has shared the stage with notable Hawaiʻi entertainers like Henry Kapono, the Makaha Sons, Tavana and Christie Brooke, and continues to build a reputation for his heartfelt style and charismatic presence. With original music dedicated to “elevating the mind, body, spirit, and soul,” Ryan Perez is truly an artist on the rise—creating music that reflects not just who he is, but who he strives to be.
With tracks like "Troubled Soul" and "Life Is Good," Ryan continues to inspire and connect with listeners, aiming to spread love, kindness, respect, and gratitude through his music
