This inaugural event brought our community together to honor the legendary voices that have shaped Hawaiʻi's unique sound, while uplifting the next generation of artists who will carry that music forward.
Our theme, "Transcending Generations", speaks to a truth we've witnessed time and again: music connects us across time and place. It teaches, heals, inspires, and reminds us who we are.
Every one who attended the event, was not just attending a magical night of music and connection - they became a champion for Hawaiʻi's artists. The support helps ensure our songs, stories, and cultural soul continue to thrive for generations to come.

The first annual In the Key of Aloha – Transcending Generations Gala was more than an event—it was a powerful evening celebrating and supporting Hawaiʻi’s music and cultural legacy. Presented during Henry Kapono Foundation Month, this premier celebration will feature an extraordinary Henry & Friends concert, bringing together Hawaiʻi’s most celebrated musicians alongside today’s brightest emerging artists.
