“Aloha to Aloha Stadium” was a collaborative production presented by TMR Events, Aloha Artist Foundation, and the Henry Kapono Foundation. For 47 years, Aloha Stadium has stood as Hawaiʻi’s largest outdoor arena, hosting countless unforgettable moments, from University of Hawaiʻi football games and high school championships to the NFL Pro Bowl and legendary concerts by Michael Jackson, U2, Bruno Mars, and more. Beyond sports and music, the stadium has been home to community traditions such as the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace, holiday light shows, fairs, and cultural celebrations. Aloha to Aloha Stadium; gives our community one final chance to honor all the memories we’ve made here throughout the past 50 years; said Stanford Carr, president of Stanford Carr Development and one of Aloha Hālawa District Partners’ lead developers for the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED).
“As we bid aloha to the stadium that shaped so many of our memories, we also welcome an era of renewal. Celebrating Hawai‘i’s Culture. Building Hawai‘i’s Future. NASED will honor the past while creating a place for Hawaiʻi’s future — one built on community, culture, and shared experience,” said Eric Fujimoto, Stadium Authority Chair.
Concert Producer Raymond Ho Jr. adds, “It is a tremendous honor to produce this historic concert event, one that pays tribute to a place that has been a foundation of Hawaiʻi’s community and culture for nearly five decades.”
Hawai‘i music legend Henry Kapono shares, “Aloha Stadium has been more than a place, it’s been part of our lives. As we honor its legacy, we also celebrate the new chapter ahead, filled with Aloha and Goodtimes Together.”
