✨ Welcome to the 2026 OTR Program Application Season! ✨
(Access to the Application is below in the blue box)
We’re thrilled that you’re interested in taking your music to the next level with us. The OTR program is a unique opportunity designed to support emerging Hawaiʻi artists who are ready to grow, perform, and build their professional careers.
Because space in the program is limited, we ask that you carefully review the OTR Terms and FAQ before applying. This ensures every applicant fully understands the commitment and expectations of being part of the OTR program. If the timing or requirements don’t align with you or your schedule right now, we kindly ask that you leave the opportunity open for another artist.
For Artists on Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, Maui County (Maui, Lanaʻi & Molokaʻi), please see below for sponsorship opportunities.
Once accepted, OTR artists will:
Sign a commitment letter to confirm participation.
Be added to the HKF Professional Music Exchange (Online Artist & Music Industry Directory).
Complete orientation and training, then be matched with opportunities to perform in a variety of live shows and environments.
Receive mentorship and coaching to develop talent, confidence, and stage presence
Performances may include preparation, promotion, rehearsals, and other professional expectations that reflect real industry work.
Artists are required to attend a series of HKF MasterClasses, which provide tools, knowledge, and connections to build a sustainable career in music.
This is more than a performance opportunity, it’s a step into the music industry with support, guidance, and ʻohana behind you.
If this sounds like the perfect fit, please apply below!
